The impact of migraine
Around 1 in every 7 UK adults suffer from migraine, and it has a big effect on
their lives.
It also has a big impact on the workplace, costing around £1bn per year in the
UK, or up to 25 million days off work or school. The symptoms are so bad that
the World Health Organisation considers migraine to be one of the top 20 most
disabling health problems.
